About This Artwork
Antelope Canyon, Navajo Reserve, Arizona (USA)
The philosopher's stone has ancient origins. Utopia, human greed, wizards’ or charlatans’ speculations. It was believed to be capable of turning metals into gold or even providing a long life elixir. It has been described as a mixture of colors from red to amber, bathed in purple and gold. Inside this rock one can grasp the essence of legends.
About The Medium
Fabio Dal Boni’s art is a mix between photorealism, new pop art and fine art photography. Is the result of his continuous quest to find those supernatural colors that he perceives when looking at the world. To capture them, Fabio uses a new art medium that mixes photography, drawing and paint, and experiments with different oil school and digital instruments. His art, realized on metal, takes on a magical luminescence and an incredible 3-D effect with stunning details.
An aluminum rail rectangle on the back makes hanging the artwork easy and safe.
